Lapping

  • What is Lapping?

Lapping is a passive form of surface grinding that offers a low and precise removal rate. In this finishing process, a workpiece is held against or moved between abrasive lapping plates in rotational and reciprocating motion for precise material removal and a smooth surface finish.

Lapping can be done by hand or by a lapping machine.
